Safety survey reveals laboratory risks

Early results from the first international survey of researchers' attitudes to laboratory safety, which hints at a disconnect between scientists' reported sense of security and actual practices in the laboratory, are reported in a Nature News story. The survey examines laboratory safety culture and perceptions of safety, and is on a larger scale than any previous laboratory safety surveys.
