Amazing Space Launches New Design

Amazing Space, HubbleSite's sister site, is launching a new look and feel. Amazing Space takes users on a journey of astronomical discovery through the nearby and distant cosmos from the combined perspectives of the Hubble Space Telescope and its successor, the James Webb Space Telescope. The site redesign provides current users with a better browsing experience and tablet compatibility, while also reorganizing content to serve a more diverse audience. Current features include Hubble 25th anniversary resources, including a Star Witness news story about Hubble's iconic portraits of the Eagle Nebula, a "Twenty-five Years of Hubble" video that looks at some of the telescope's greatest discoveries, and a Hubble anniversary image of young stars flaring to life in the star cluster Westerlund 2. Be sure to check out our latest Star Witness news article, which provides an introductory look at the Webb Telescope, scheduled to launch in 2018.
