| This conference is aimed at bringing together leading international scientists to explore recent emerging themes in the research on ferroic materials both from a fundamental and an application-oriented perspective. Ample space will be left to foster interdisciplinary exchange of ideas between members of the communities working on the three classes of ferroic materials. The discussed topics will range from the conceptual advances in the understanding of the physical mechanisms underlying the properties of these materials, to the challenges related to their engineering, and to their potential applications. | | | |
| SESSION TOPICS - State-of-the-art ferroic materials
- Emergent phases and phase boundaries
- Challenges and opportunities for engineering
