Special Issue: Neuro-imaging paradigms in the study of obesity


Following, is an Editorial and a series of four papers presenting results from studies examining various aspects of how obesity and images of palatable foods affect brain volumes and neural processing. Together they reflect the increasing sophistication of neuro-imaging paradigms in the study of obesity and focus on the potential role of and deficits in frontal cortical brain areas implicated in executive control of food intake.
