BREAKING NEWS Nuclear physics: Fusion energy heats up LLNL Experiments that have succeeded in releasing more energy through a fusion reaction than is absorbed by the fuel (to trigger the reaction) are reported in Nature this week. This achievement marks an important step towards the potential implementation of fusion as a viable alternative energy source.
